DANGER OF MELTING ARCTIC

In the melting Arctic ice, there are sleeping bacteria and virions to which we have no immunity, just like Indians and Polynesians had no immunity to diseases like measles when they first came into contact with humans.  Will these organisms wipe out a huge proportion of the human race?
