1997: Members of a GCBRO expedition in southern Oklahoma report
hearing sounds characteristic of Bigfoot, followed by an eyewitness sighting of
a bipedal creature about eight feet tall, which left "at least 2½ times
the size in damage that a single man could do" walking through grass and
underbrush in a wooded portion of Marshall County. From sounds reported, the
searchers "guesstimate" that two or three creatures are present.
Attempts at videotaping prove fruitless.
