YE EDITOR LOOKS AT CRYPTID PROBLEMS
I'm a little skeptical over these Not Deer cryptids. They are generally described as deer-like animals that somehow are different from ordinary deer; but this could apply to any deer who looks somewhat different from his fellow. Any deer with a distorting injury, with a slightly unusual head, an unusual color deviation by that criterion could be described as a "Not Deer". It doesn't mean there is a discrete species of not deer out there. I'd be glad to hear of readers' responses.

UFO AND CRYPTID ENCOUNTERS JULY 2026
Some people feel these phenomena should not be considered in tandem, but Ye Editor feels this is a narrow approach.
MONTANA VARMINT
This creature, reported in 1892, seems to have had some humanoid characteristics, and was at least partially bipedal. It was said to eat bears and mountain sheep.
BIGFOOT LANGUAGE
A claim has been made (source unknown) that Bigfoot has a language. In that language, the word for a Bigfoot-human hybrid is
Hanke-Wasichun.
Scott Nelson has claimed the Sierra Sounds may be Bigfoot language.
They are allegedly Bigfoot vocalizations.
DILDO POND MONSTER
This monster is supposed to inhabit Dildo Pond, near Dildo, Newfoundland, but I have been unable tto discover anything further about it. If any readers can furnish information, I would be most grateful.
The town of Dildo ia nearby. No one seems to know how it obtained its name. The area was inhabited by the Beothuk Indians in 1613, but it is not necessarily a First Nations name. One suggestion is that it was named by the Portuguese.
The town was there in 1711. Attempts by some to effect a name change have proved fruitless.
To complicate matters, there are two Dildo Ponds in the vicinity. It is unclear to the present writer which one is supposedly tenanted by the monster.
Information welcome!
