EBU NGIU
Many cryptozoologists are familiar with the Ebu Gogo, who, it is suspected, are a surviving group of Homo floresiensis. Less well known are the Ebu ngiu, who enjoy a forested habitat. The locals say they were there before humans. They seem to be very similar to the Ebu gogo, and Ye Editor suspects they are in fact the same species. They too are found on the island of Flores in Indonesia and are spoken of as still existing.
GHOST ELK
A spectral beast seen by the Laird of Ardblair, Scotland. in modern times. His wife also had a sighting. His first impression was that it was like an American moose - actually the European elk is identical with the American moose and is known to have roamed Scotland until about the year 1300. Could there be a few surviving? He also entertained the impression that it could have been a Great Irish Elk - an extinct creature which was in fact no elk but a deer and whose range as far from confined to Ireland. To add to the confusion, in America the term elk is applied to the wapiti.

TUATARA
An amazing reptile that hasn't changed in 200,000,000 years. I remember seeing one in the Dublin Zoo. Karl Shuker had a theory that the Cenaprugwirion of Wales might be escaped tuataras, brought home rom New Zealand.
