MUMUGA

You don't want to meet this, but happily, it is confined to Australia, according to the legends of the Aborigines.  It has short arms and legs and seems to be humanoid.  Before, however, you get the idea that you can easily outrun it,should it wish to devour you (as it often does), it's not that simple.  It will start out by getting in front of you and then you will notice that it farts continuously.  The aroma it exudes will overcome you and, once you have fallen senseless to the ground, it will commence its grisly meal.
