Two large sea serpents or snakes entered an area known as the Long Bath in Norway. They arrived about 1350. Three hundred years thereafter, one attempted to go to the river mouth and this attempt ended in its death. The body rotted, so that none could approach it because of the stench. The other remained behind.and, for all I know, it is there still.
