Ordinary animal reports can be dismissed as imagination, let alone cryptid ones. Something very similar happened to me once. I saw a mouse or young rat entering the house, but, as I was only about 8, I was disbelieved, even when I saw the creature again in the house. Eventually my mother saw the creature making its way up the leg of my baby sister's cradle! Reader, be slow to dismiss reports, even if you think them unlikely. This report mentions as a sideline a Bigfoot encounter. (Looking below, I seem to have uploaded a pterodactyl when it was intended to be a bat. I'm not compos mentis today.)
