Should you venture to South America and find yourself in the Andes of Peru or Chile, keep a lookout for the Sapo de Loma, a cryptid which is a large variety of toad. Its name signifies, unsurprisingly, "toad of the hill". It subsists on a diet of birds and rodents. It is also said to exude poison, so keep your distance should you meet this batrachian.
