At the beginning of the 21st Century monsters still roam the remote, and sometimes not so remote, corners of our planet. It is our job to search for them. The Centre for Fortean Zoology [CFZ] is - we believe - the largest professional, scientific and full-time organisation in the world dedicated to cryptozoology - the study of unknown animals. Since 1992 the CFZ has carried out an unparalleled programme of research and investigation all over the world. Since 2009 we have been running the increasingly popular CFZ Blog Network, and although there has been an American branch of the CFZ for over ten years now, it is only now that it has a dedicated blog.

BOOKS I HAVE WRITTEN

The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Arthurian Legends

This one is something of a best seller.  You can pick up secondhand copies dead cheaply as so many were sold.  It was also published in Japanese and Hungarian translations.

Dictionary of Cryptozoology

This one is still in print and available through the usual outlets.
Two supplementary works are also available.

The Fairy Realm

A look at the world of Fairies and the question of whether, in the 21st Century, it is illogical to believe in the possibility of their existence.  In print.

The Grail

A book in dictionary form which explores the whole legend of the Grail, including controversial ideas such as those featured in the Da Vinci code.  In print.

Handbook of Fairies

A dictionary of the fairy world.  It shouldn't be hard to find a secondhand copy.

Irish Myth and Legend

A pocket dictionary of the myths and legends of my native land.  Also available in a French translation.

Mystery Animals of Ireland

Co-written with Gary Cunningham.  A look at the mystery animals of my native land.  In print.

Fictional works include Sherlock Holmes and the Heir of Albion (not to everyone's taste), Peter Pan's Brother and The Wand of Merlin.
