At the beginning of the 21st Century monsters still roam the remote, and sometimes not so remote, corners of our planet. It is our job to search for them. The Centre for Fortean Zoology [CFZ] is - we believe - the largest professional, scientific and full-time organisation in the world dedicated to cryptozoology - the study of unknown animals. Since 1992 the CFZ has carried out an unparalleled programme of research and investigation all over the world. Since 2009 we have been running the increasingly popular CFZ Blog Network, and although there has been an American branch of the CFZ for over ten years now, it is only now that it has a dedicated blog.
CFZ TV
We drew your attention a short while ago to the fact that CFZtv is now available on video. Its first instalment of the new series has now appeared.
How do I find it? I hear you ask.
click on this link:
What delights await me when I go there?
You'll see Jon Downes without makeup interviewing bright little Max Blake, who combines zoology with cryptozoology.
You'll see Corinna Downes, strictly for the birds.
Hear about Chupacabras as it goes a-bloodsucking. Hear the tale of the Prodigious Quoll.
See shots of Snow Leopards, a threatened species.
See Jon Downes' nature friendly backyard and the Water Shrew he found there.
Hear the Star Wars theme played raucously on kazoos.
See the lovely Charlotte, continuity factotum.
See Richard Freeman fulminating.
Oh, there's also a feature on frogs.
