On This Day in Weird, November 13...
1977: Several hunters camped overnight in the Huron National
Forest, near Hayes Tower in Alcona County, Michigan, allegedly endure an
hour-long "siege" of frightening noise from the forest, produced by
unseen prowlers they assume to be one or more Sasquatches. In the morning, they
find broken tree limbs, brush torn up, and marks in the soil that "could
have been footprints."
