On This Day in Weird, August 7...
Yes, I said 7th! Just discovered that I jumped the gun
yesterday with a report for August 8, so I've hopped in the Blogger time
machine to pick up a stitch for August 7.
1962: While picking huckleberries along Lemon Creek, near Nelson,
British Columbia, experienced hunter and woodsman John Bringsli claims his
second Bigfoot sighting of the summer. As in July, this creature allegedly has
gray-blue fur and stands 7 to 9 feet tall when seen from a distance of 40 feet.
Unnerved, Bringlsi sprints to his car and flees the area.
