1919: Farmers in the area of Union Springs, New York, report
a mysterious beast roaming the vicinity around Big Gulf, to the south.
Witnessed claim it has "a head like a lion" but offer no further
description. Farmer John Redman blames it for leaving one of his cows with
"its tail half bitten off," while vigilante posses anticipate hunting
the creature. It eludes them and vanishes into weird history.
