On This Day in Weird, April 28...
1978: While driving home at 3:00 a.m., witness Peter Hureuk
claims he struck a Sasquatch with his car, causing the creature to run away
clutching its side. Authors Colin and Janet Bord place the event at or near
"Rocks, Pennsylvania," a nonexistent town. Pennsylvania does have
communities called Rocks Works, Rocksprings, McKees Rocks, and Ronks,
but none simply called "Rocks."
