On This Day in Weird, September 8...

The BFRO launches a four-day investigation of Bigfoot reports in Lake County, Colorado, around Leadville. While nothing happens on the first day, expedition members subsequently report "wood knocks," "whoops," and other sounds interpreted as evidence of Bigfoot in the area. Also found and photographed were "a couple of sets of tracks," with a "distinct smell" noted in the same vicinity.
