At the beginning of the 21st Century monsters still roam the remote, and sometimes not so remote, corners of our planet. It is our job to search for them. The Centre for Fortean Zoology [CFZ] is - we believe - the largest professional, scientific and full-time organisation in the world dedicated to cryptozoology - the study of unknown animals. Since 1992 the CFZ has carried out an unparalleled programme of research and investigation all over the world. Since 2009 we have been running the increasingly popular CFZ Blog Network, and although there has been an American branch of the CFZ for over ten years now, it is only now that it has a dedicated blog.

DR WHO - MY BRILLIANT SUGGESTION

Tardis
In Britain (an island off the coast of Ireland) there is much enthusiasm for the science fiction series Doctor Who.  Every so often the hero "regenerates" i.e. his body changes and he is played by another actor.  There have been many such Doctors over the years, but from time to time there are suggestions that the Doctor should change radically - be black or a woman, for example.  I have an even more radical idea which I feel the BBC should adopt:

THE NEXT DOCTOR WHO SHOULD BE A PARROT.

Think of it, flying around the Tardis, croaking orders, pulling switches and pressing buttons with its claws.  The Doctor could have originally been regenerated as a Scotsman called MacCaw who fell into a vat of Parrot Transformation Solution (PTS) and morphed into his feathery form.  Think of how he could fight his metallic enemies, the Daleks.  He could fly about defecating on them, so they would rust.  After all, Daleks don't have hands, so they couldn't clean themselves.

The idea is bristling with possibilities!
