At the beginning of the 21st Century monsters still roam the remote, and sometimes not so remote, corners of our planet. It is our job to search for them. The Centre for Fortean Zoology [CFZ] is - we believe - the largest professional, scientific and full-time organisation in the world dedicated to cryptozoology - the study of unknown animals. Since 1992 the CFZ has carried out an unparalleled programme of research and investigation all over the world. Since 2009 we have been running the increasingly popular CFZ Blog Network, and although there has been an American branch of the CFZ for over ten years now, it is only now that it has a dedicated blog.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH DELAWARE?
The state of Delaware has something amiss, but what it is we don't know. It seems to repel aliens. At least, that is the conclusion you would draw if you viewed the statistics of UFO sightings for last year. There were an estimated 6500 UFO sightings in the country as a whole, but only 14 of them were in Delaware. What's wrong with the state that UFOs seek to avoid it? Do the aliens know something we don't know? Perhaps there is some hidden menace there. On the other hand, it is quite possible that aliens are so frightened of Vice-President Joe Biden that they are afraid to fly over his native state.
