A legendary creature of Spain. It is said to be found in the Sierra Norte. It is said to be a sort of reptile, lacking legs or having very short ones. It is hairy, blind and poisonous. Suggestions are that it is either a snake or lizard. The intriguing guess has been made that it is a number of mongooses walking in a line.
