TIGERS IN GEORGIA

The Georgia concerned is the one in the United States.  In fact, there are more tigers held in captivity in the USA than there are wild tigers in India.  As early as 1840 one James I. Inman killed what was very probably a tiger.  He had known it was in the area and had craftily concealed himself in a mulberry tree, from which he had shot the hapless beast.
