A large unidentified lagomorph, seen on July 26th by H. Harrison. It was observed - and nearly stepped on - by the witness pn Mount Laurel, near Mammoth Lakes, California. It was about the size of a cocker spaniel and silvery blue in color. There had been earlier reports of mountaineers hallucinating such creatures.
