LOUGH HYNE MONSTERS

 In the 19th Century, perhaps earlier, a farmer was said to have lost two cows to a monster or monsters in this Irish lake.  A party of men shot the monster, when its mate came out of the lake, but they shot that too.  This is a folk tale of which no further details seem to have survived.  The lake is in County Cork.
