GREAT HORNED SNAKE

The Kubu of Indonesia believe in this beast.  It is terribly long and has horns.  However, according to legend, they do not remain snakes.  They actually eventually turn into crocodiles.

The Indo-Pacific crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is to be found in the area and may lie behind the legend.
