On This Day in Weird, July 29...
1973: Donald Cowdell, Charles Searles, and their wives
allegedly see Bigfoot while driving Kingsbury Grade, north of Lake Tahoe,
Nevada. They describe a creature seven to eight feet tall, covered with long, shiny
black hair and having a "flat leathery face." It walks off into brush
as they pass.
