mystery Kaspar Hauser in Ansbach, Bavaria.
1976: Theatrical premiere of King Kong, produced by
Dino De Laurentiis. Unlike the 1933 and 2005 versions, employing stop-motion
animation and CG technology respectively, De Laurentiis opts for a man in an
ape suit and has him scale the South Tower of Manhattan's World Trade Center
for the climactic showdown.
