CFZ - FORTHCOMING PUBLICATIONS

Ah, yes, that picture of me up there catches me at my dignified best.  Just a quick note to draw attention to publications forthcoming from the CFZ.

First of all, the second volume of the paperbound edition of George Eberhart's Mysterious Creatures is almost ready.  This huge and authoritative work was once available only in a hardbound edition which would have been outside the spending limits of the average customer.

Work is already in progress on a translation from Russian of a work on the almas by Boris Porshnev.  This work was originally published in an edition of 500 copies.  There has been no previous translation.   Now it will be available to all and sundry.  Porshnev was a cryptozoologist who collaborated with Heuvelmans and he identified the almas with a surviving population of Neanderthals.

We are also planning an edition of a hitherto unpublished book on the lake monster theme by Lionel Leslie.  The existence of this book has been rumored for some time and a copy of the manuscript has at last been tracked down by veteran cryptozoologist Gary Cunningham.

These publications were announced by Jonathan Downes at the recent Weird Weekend and show how the publications department of the CFZ is intent on producing important and rare works on the subject.
