SPEARFINGER

A stone woman in the folklore of the Cherokee (Cherokee Ht'lun'ta) ,  she was to be found in Tennessee and North Carolina.    She would pierce a man with her fingernails and, once he was dead, she would eat his liver.  She generally appeared like an old woman, but it should be borne in mind that she was a shapeshifter.
