In 1948 this creature was reported y farmers in Indiana. It was also seen by Police Officer L. Daniels, who said it looked like something out of a horror film. It had long legs, a big head with pointed ears and small eyes. Insofar as we are aware, it has never been identified.
Let us go back to 1879. Then a huge snake, 34 feet 3 inches long, pursued a hapless wayfarer called Daniel Rishel. The snake had horns or tentacles. Luckily, Rishel chanced upon a scythe with which he chopped off a horn (or tentacle). The monster then became stuck on the prongs of a reaping machine, enabling Rishel to despatch it.
H'm, Indiana sound a dangerous place.
