This Nevada lake is supposed by the Paiute Indians to be the home of two lake monsters, one male and one female. They are called Tawaga.
A monster was described in the lake by white settlers in 1868. It is suspected that a monster dwelling in the lake lives in caves by night.
The monster has been given the name of Cecil.
