JACK VALENTINE - ENGLISH FOLKLORE CHARACTER
He is a gift-giver supposed to flit about Norfolk on the 13th February (Valentine's Eve). He is not quite in the league of Santa Claus, sometimes leaving useless presents, sometimes useful ones.
