Although such a hybrid is regarded as genetically impossible, in2006 a strange creature was born to a mare in Quebec. The only stallions on the farm had been neutered. The animal's head and legs were moose-like. Moose and horses will mate, but such recorded matings have not proved fruitful. The animal has been called Bambi.
