ZABAIRO

Heuvelmans refers to this unknown primate in West Africa in his Les Betes humaines d'Afrique.  It looks like a large ape and is supposed to carry a flaming torch in one hand, presumably at night.  I suppose it's lucky it doesn't start a forest fire.
