WATER HORSE

In Scotland, Gaelic speakers refer to the each uisge or water horse.  This term may, in fact, be applied to various different lacustrine creatures.  One of them at least was reportedly paranormal.  This was the creature of Loch Evort, seen in 1856.  It was said to have a slimy black skin like a porpoise.  It submerged. Afterwords there rose from the loch a huge man who had the same kind of skin as the monster and it was inferred that the monster had turned itself into a naked human.
