PRINCE MARKO AND HIS FLYING HORSE

Prince Marko was a hero of the Balkans to whom a great many legends have accrued - including that of his flying horse, Šarac.  Marko himself was historical.  He died in 1395.  Yet this did not stop him acquiring such a legendary steed.
