Tom Slick was well known in cryptozoological circles and he once purchased a creature referred to as a hoat. This was supposed to be the hybrid of a hog and a goat. Such a crossing would be deemed impossible by scientists and we cannot tell what in fact the creature was. Attempts to breed the animal with pigs and goats proved fruitless.
