STALLO - GHASTLY CREATURE OF THE NORTH

A stallo was a great bogeyman among the Saami who tended to show up around Christmas time.  In days gone by, a stallo would come.  Groups of youths used to go around disguised as the Stallo and followers.  This lasted until the 19th Century.
