HUNT FOR THE EACH UISCE

Paul Seaburn writes on the forthcoming hunt for the each uisce which he refers to as the "horse-headed eel".  These creatures are known in the Irish language as each uisce (water horse) and have long figured in Irish folklore.  Richard Freeman's idea that they are eunuch eels is plausible.  Some of the bodies of water they occupy are too small to sustain a population of the creatures, but if they are temporary occupants which can move overland to more spacious habitats, as eels can, this would account for some reports of them from glorified puddles.

It has been noted that the same creature has been reported from Scotland, notably Loch Ness, and Nick Redfern has something to say about it.
