WHAT WAS BIG YELLOW?

Big Yellow was a strange creature seen by American soldiers during the Vietnam War.  It was 7'-8' tall, had clawed hands, was yellow and gave off a yellowish glow.  It seemed impervious to armor-piercing ammunition.  Any further information on this creature would be welcome.
