KIMBALL BEAST

What was described as a prehistoric beast graced Kimball (Tennessee) with its presence in 1936.  It was seen in the South Pittsburg area and what was believed to be its den was discovered on the banks of the Tennessee River.  Grenades were flung and machine guns fired into this.  Whether or not it was in fact the creature's lair, it was not seen again.
