OIECHEK - HUMAN EATER

This creature is said, in American folklore, to resemble a shrew.  If it comes upon a sleeping human, it will burrow into him and eat him from inside.  When this grisly task has been accomplished, it will collect his bones and use them to make its nest.  I would welcome further information about this voracious beast.
