On This Day in Weird, February 18...
2013: A nocturnal raccoon hunter, armed with a spotlight and
dogs, claims a Bigfoot sighting near Grain Valley, Missouri (Jackson County). He
describes an "enormous blackish brown figure," walking across a field
toward a wooded area, briefly glimpsed from a distance of 75 yards. He returns
later, telling the BFRO that he obtained photos of five footprints, "one
in front of the other, which was rather weird and I do have the pictures of
them but their [sic] really hard to make out." Said photos do not
appear with his report on the BFRO's website.
