On This Day in Weird, February 12...

1975: A man returning home late from work in Somerset County, Maine, smells a "dead animal" stench coming from his barn and notes his ponies acting frightened. He sees nothing, but later hears a loud "bang" and unexplained "scream." In the morning he finds footprints near the barn but does not described them as to size. He reports the incident to the GCBRO as a possible Bigfoot encounter in April 2005.
