On This Day in Weird, February 6...
1974: A woman and her son-in-law report a chaotic evening of
paranormal events outside Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The night begins with a
glowing UFO allegedly landing, followed shortly by a sighting of two hairy
hominids matching the traditional description of Bigfoot. The woman fires a
shotgun at one of the creatures, whereupon it "disappears in a flash of
light." The other apparently escapes in the general confusion, while the
UFO departs as well.
