BEASTS OF ENGLAND

If you've read Orwell's Animal Farm, you may be familiar with the song Beasts of England which the rebel animals sing.  Orwell tells us the tune is somewhat like a fusion of Clementine and La Cucaracha.  However, I have realized that the lyrics can be sung precisely to the tune of the German national anthem.  I'm not trying to make any particular point by this: I just mention it as a curiosity.
