On This Day in Weird, January 20, as if Trump's installment
as president wasn't weird enough...
2005: While leaving her boyfriend's home in Englewood,
Florida, at 3 a.m., the unnamed witness sees a "thing" standing in
the road. Viewed from 25 feet, it is approximately 3 feet 9 inches tall and
"slim." Her boyfriend arrives in time to see the figure run into a neighbor's
yard "at very high speed." The boyfriend and a male companion put on
camouflage outfits and give chase—with paintball guns—but, not surprisingly, fail
to overtake their quarry.
