1948: A resident of Sharpsburg, Maryland, reports a UFO
sighting at 11:30 p.m. A retired pilot himself, the witness describes an
illuminated circular craft moving at about 20 miles per hour and absolutely
silent. Through a window of sorts, he allegedly sees the UFO's crew, described
as "normal looking men wearing white uniforms."
