1979: A man hunting deer along the Canadian River in
Hutchinson County, Texas, claims a Bigfoot encounter around 5:30 a.m. He sees
nothing but hears some large creature "tearing the hell out of the salt cedar" trees nearby. When the sounds
stop, he waits 10 minutes, then hastily departs the area, later telling the
GCBRO, "I know not what this was but it made it's displeasure very, very
evident."
