LONELY LIONESS

In the past we have tried to show examples of inter-species activity.  However, last night I saw an attempt at this which didn't work out.  In a game park in Africa, a lioness was the only member of her pride left alive.  Plagued by loneliness, she attempted to join a herd of wildebeeste.  As you may imagine, the wildebeeste showed understandable reservations about this idea and rejected the lioness.  That a lioness should contemplate such a move seems to me to border on the incredible.  It probably seemed as incredible to the wildebeeste as well.  However, all ended happily.  The park authorities introduced some new lions and with them she formed a new pride.
