On This Day in Weird, July 9...
1993: Canadian lawyer Garry Hoy repeats a trick he's often
done before, hurling himself against a window of his 24th-floor office in the
Toronto-Dominion Centre to impress visitors with the "unbreakable"
glass. He's right again, but this time the pane pops out of its frame and Hoy
plunges to his death at age 38.
