On This Day in Weird, July 19...
1972: A motorist driving through Brisbane in Queensland,
Australia, reportedly saw six "soft gray" humanoid figures standing
at roadside, across from a "long silvery object" presumed to be a
grounded UFO. One figure raised a hand to the approaching car, whereupon the
driver noted a 'faceted covering' obscuring its face. The driver sped away, but
not before noting a sound he rendered later as "p-doing, p-doing."
