FORTEAN SHEEPDOG

When is a sheepdog not a sheepdog?  When it is a llama.  The use of llamas as sheep herders is increasing these days, the reason being that sheepdogs will occasionally attack sheep and may be responsible for some of the depredations ascribed to mystery Big Cats.

There is a farmer in Russia, by the way, who is currently using a lion for a sheepdog.  This is causing a certain amount of trepidation among neighboring farmers.  I think farmers would be better to stick with llamas.
